1. Overview of Warranty
Duke Warehouse Perth is committed to product quality. All items purchased from us come with a 12-month warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship from the date of purchase, in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.
2. Consumer Guarantees Under Australian Consumer Law
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law:
- You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
- You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
This warranty complements your ACL rights and does not limit them. See our Returns Policy for claim processes.
3. What This Warranty Covers
This warranty covers defects in materials or workmanship under normal use within 12 months from purchase. If a product is defective, we will offer a repair, replacement, or refund, based on the fault’s nature and ACL requirements.
3.1 Conditions for Warranty Coverage
- The product must be used per the manufacturer’s instructions.
- The product must be in its original, unmodified state.
- The product must not be damaged by misuse, neglect, improper handling, or external causes (e.g., fire, water, power surges).
3.2 Items Not Covered
- Normal wear and tear (e.g., worn-out components, cosmetic damage).
- Damage from misuse or mishandling.
- Products altered, modified, or repaired by unauthorised parties.
- Consumables (e.g., batteries, brushes, abrasives).
- Products with altered, defaced, or removed serial numbers or labels.
- Dangerous goods (e.g., lithium-ion batteries) unless defects are verified as manufacturing-related.
4. How to Make a Warranty Claim
To make a claim, contact perth@dukewarehouse.com.au within 12 months of purchase, providing:
- Proof of purchase (e.g., receipt, order confirmation).
- A description of the fault, with photos or videos if applicable.
We will assess your claim within 5 business days of receiving the returned item. If valid, we will offer a repair, replacement, or refund per our Returns Policy. For dangerous goods (e.g., lithium-ion batteries), we will provide guidance on safe return to comply with transport regulations.
5. Return Shipping for Warranty Claims
You are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is confirmed defective or non-compliant with ACL guarantees, in which case we will reimburse reasonable costs. We cover shipping for repaired or replacement products sent back to you. Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
Use a tracked and insured shipping method. We are not responsible for items lost or damaged in transit. Send returns to:

We will notify you of the outcome via email within 5 business days. If the item is not covered, you may have it returned at your cost.
7. Third-Party Products
Third-party products purchased through us are subject to the manufacturer’s warranty. We will assist in facilitating claims but are not liable for issues covered by third-party warranties.
8. Limitation of Liability
Unless required by law, Duke Warehouse Perth is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages (e.g., loss of profits, data) arising from product use. This does not affect your ACL rights.
